A beautiful historic church on Saskatoon's river bank
Knox United Church is very carefully meeting again for in-person worship services. We are following stringent pandemic protocols, including insisting that worshipers wear a mask while in the church. Please do so. We also have marked seating, so we remain at a distance from each other, and have hand sanitizer available throughout the church. We worship with the windows open for maximum air circulation. For safety for our choir members and the congregation, we have suspended choir singing for now, although the congregation is singing a few verses of several hymns through the course of the service (masked singing of course). We do not pass an offering plate, but the plates are available at the back of the sanctuary for you to place your offering when you enter or leave the service. Washrooms are regularly sanitized. Finally, we mark the route in and out of the church so that there is one-way foot traffic in the building. The services are a bit different from what was the case before the pandemic, but we believe that the precautions we are taking will help keep members and visitors safe and comfortable. So join us Sundays at 10:30am.
Video recordings of the services will be available a few days after each service, and the links will be posted on this website.

A historic downtown Church, Knox United is rooted deep in Saskatoon. We celebrate the diversity of our membership and the joys and challenges of our surrounding community. Our location leads us to address the concerns of the Inner City in fellowship with churches of other denominations around us. Fully accessible, the location and beauty of our church has developed into a vibrant Wedding Ministry, and many musical groups offer regular concerts and presentations in the church.
You will find a warm welcome when you come to our Sunday worship services. We know that it can be a little intimidating arriving in a strange place for the first time. We'll do everything we can to help you feel welcome.
The Knox Choir bring inspiration and joy to the Sunday services and their own concerts. Led by a gifted Choir Director, Mary Lou Beck, and accompanied by an outstanding Organist, Patricia Deibert, the Choir by itself, will having you coming back every Sunday.
Many groups rent the sanctuary for events. There is a good quality sound system, with up to six microphones. It is a surprisingly flexible space suitable for a great variety of programs.
